I've been hacking on a better way to install #OpenBSD on #AppleSilicon with the asahi-installer [1] today. The result is available at:

tl;dr: No more usb drives needed

In addition to m1n1 and uboot, my new target also installs the OpenBSD boot loader and an installer ramdisk to the ESP. Thanks to some recent work from dlg@ and kettenis@ [2][3] the boot loader supports loading the ramdisk automatically if no OpenBSD disklabel is found on disk. This allows us to skip the manual usb installation step from [4] and boot right to the installer on first boot.
