gyptazy.ch is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.

This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.

BGP worked just fine. It was Facebook’s automation software that caused FB to withdraw routes, including those hosting their authoritative DNS.

Big thanks to dlg@ in the #OpenBSD project for sorting out a sec(4) bug that we had when #BGP KEEPALIVE traffic would try to pass over the encrypted tunnel when there was a physical link state change on an upstream interface.
Now to get #ansible to push a new binary to the fleet and do an after-hours restart.
